For the following: Bliss St - River Road Repair Contract Number: 4217-24-23 Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty as specified in the Instructions to Bidders section of the Bid Document. A Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Bond in the amount of 100% are required. Also, a Maintenance Bond in the amount of 25% is required. In the event of heavy rain / inclement weather, the prebid meeting will be rescheduled to Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 10 am. A notification to all bidders via PennBid will be posted if the rain date is needed. Scope of Work The Township of Lower Merion is accepting bids for the stabilization and repair of Bliss Street, consisting of, but not limited to: selective demolition; reconstruction of masonry stone wall; installation of precast modular block wall, concrete energy dissipater, and guiderail; roadway reconstruction; stormwater management (cast-in-place channel, inlet, and culvert pipe) along with temporary bypass measures; slope stabilization; erosion and sediment control measures; and site restoration. Award is planned for July 17, 2024 with Construction Notice to Proceed planned for Summer / Fall 2024 pending contract execution. Detailed specifications developed by the Pennoni Associates, Inc. Questions regarding the project scope shall be submitted via the "Vendor Discussions" feature in PennBid. The last day for receipt of written questions is end of business day of May 31, 2024.
