Reference Number 0000351754 Chautauqua County Department of Public Facilities (DPF), in conjunction with the City of Jamestown Department of Public Works (City) are undertaking a complete street project within the City of Jamestown that involves the re-alignment of Baker Street and Hazeltine Avenue Intersection. Question Deadline 05/16/2024 at 12:00 AM ET Questions are submitted online No Chautauqua County Department of Public Facilities (DPF), in conjunction with the City of Jamestown Department of Public Works (City) are undertaking a complete street project within the City of Jamestown that involves the re-alignment of Baker Street and Hazeltine Avenue Intersection. While there are components of the project that will be undertaken by the respective municipal forces, the DPF and City are seeking bids from qualified contractors to complete the intersection re-alignment construction. The project will include full depth excavation, intersection roadway reconstruction, asphalt paving, and removal and replacement of curbing, sidewalks, and driveway aprons within the project area. The project area will be closed to traffic and a detour will be put in place by DPF. This project will have a tight timeline to have the work completed during the school summer recess. The closure will be put in place following the end of classes when the City will complete drainage improvements. It is desired to have the project completed by August 16.
