Site work and paving for a road / highway in Saint Clair, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
**As of July 11, 2024, This project has been awarded to Ace-Saginaw Paving , with the awarded amount of $353,922.04.** The intent of the contract is to provide for the successful performance and completion of the work. The Contractor must perform the work as specified in the contract. Work is more particularly described as 3,000 Tons of asphalt and 635 tons of shoulder aggregate, 168 tons of CL II approaches, 138 feet of guardrail, 4 approach terminals with pavement markings and monument boxes. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified/cashiers check or Bid Bond on a solvent bank in the State of Michigan payable to the St. Clair County Road Commission or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid as guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into a contract. This work shall be in accordance with the current Michigan Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Construction, Standard Plans and Supplemental Specifications. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive irregularities in any bid and make award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the County.
