The Allen Park Public Schools will receive single prime sealed bids to furnish all labor and materials and perform all work necessary and incidental to the project listed above, in accordance with published instructions, specifications, drawings and other contract documents. Project Scope: T8 Intrusion Detection System- Replace Existing Control Panels and Keypads as shown, Tie-in Existing Motion Sensors, Door Contacts, Boiler Monitors, Freezer Monitors, Temperature Sensors, Water Sensors, etc. Provide and Install Alarm Speakers throughout corridors in each building. Existing Equipment may be cabled to existing zone expanders throughout each building. There will be seven building locations throughout the district. Bid Security - certified check or acceptable bid bond payable to Allen Park Public Schools, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid on AIA A310 Bid Bond Form For bids exceeding $50,000, successful bidder must be able to provide a 100% Labor and Material Payment Bond and a Performance Bond The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and to waive any formalities in regard thereto. In addition, the Board reserves the right to evaluate bids on any basis determined by the Board to be in the best interest of the Board and to consider alternate bids if the low bidder(s) do(es) not meet the specifications or are otherwise determined to be unqualified (Located adjacent to Bennie Elementary School and the High School Main Parking lot. Please see attached Map.) The walkthrough will be guided by an Allen Park representative, and the route will be determined at the start of the meeting. More than likely, we will start at the campus shown on the map and move throughout the district on an as needed basis.
