**As of July 22, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The work consists of constructing a large diameter water main that will cross the Mary's River via open cut, plus connections on each end to existing pipelines, and to construct required appurtenances. Pipeline consists of approximately 650-ft of 42" HDPE IPS DR 13.5, 100-ft of 36" CL 52 DI, and 150-ft of 54" HPDE IPS DR 26 casing pipe. Work will require a two-phase cofferdam and bypass piping, fish salvage, and dewatering in phased sequencing within the allowable in-water work windows. This is a public works contract subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. Contractors bidding on the project will need to complete and submit the Pre-Qualification Application form. The form contains information regarding the Contractor's capabilities to install HDPE pipe of similar size and complexity to this project as well as the Contractor's capabilities to install coffer dams similar to what is specified with this project. The City will evaluate qualifications for general compliance with specification Section 354310 and 330501. Contractor's Pre-Qualification Application forms are due on May 31, 2024 by 5:00 p.m. Contractors will be notified of approval of pre-qualification by 5:00 p.m. on June 7, 2024.
