The District is seeking proposals from qualified and competent contractors for districtwide full service elevator and lift maintenance, testing, and repairs Mandatory Pre-bid Meeting None The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to accept or to reject any one or more items on a proposal, or to waive any irregularities or informalities in the proposals or in the RFP process. If you wish to bid, your completed proposal must be returned in a sealed envelope no later than the RFP Opening Date and Time as stated in the Notice to Contractors Calling for Bids. Estimated Cost: $45,000 annually Completion of Work: Term of initial Agreement shall be July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025 with the option to renew for four additional one year terms. Required California Contractor's License: License required in the performance of this project is: C-11 - Elevator Contractor. Contractor must have and maintain the license throughout the duration of the project. The awarded contractor will be required to furnish the District with a Performance Bond and Payment Bond equal to 100% of the successful bid, prior to the start of work. All bonds are to be secured from a surety company that meets all State of California bonding requirements, as defined in Code of Civil Procedure section 995.120, and is authorized by the State of California, and all documents required by Code of Civil Procedure section 995.660, to the extent required by law. No bidder may withdraw its proposal for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of proposals.
