Renovation of a municipal facility in Northport, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Town of Northport (Owner) is requesting Bids for the procurement and installation of the Northport Backup Generator. The project generally consists of the following Work: furnishing and installing a 125 kW (or greater) standby power generator set including diesel engine-driven generator with controls, output circuit breaker, automatic transfer switch, new building service disconnect, concrete pad, all required auxiliary systems, and related work. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract and shall be on a lump sum basis. Thirty (30) working days will be allowed to complete the work. Additional time will be allowed for procurement. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Any questions regarding this plan room, shall be directed to plan room administration at 509-747-2964 or planroom@abadanplancenter.com. For information regarding the proposed work, contact Dan Remmick, P.E. of Century West Engineering ((509) 838-3810, dremmick@centurywest.com). This project is funded in part through FEMA reimbursement. Neither the State of Washington nor any of its departments or employees are, or shall be, a party to any contract or subcontract resulting from this solicitation of bids. All work performed will be subject to State prevailing wage rates. Award of the construction contract is contingent upon approval by the funding agency. The Town shall have the right to reject any or all bids not accompanied by bid security or data required by the bidding documents or a bid in any way incomplete or irregular. "The Town of Northport in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award."
