Town of Northport (Owner) is requesting Bids for the procurement and installation of the Northport Backup Generator. The project generally consists of the following Work: furnishing and installing a 125 kW (or greater) standby power generator set including diesel engine-driven generator with controls, output circuit breaker, automatic transfer switch, new building service disconnect, concrete pad, all required auxiliary systems, and related work. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract and shall be on a lump sum basis. Thirty (30) working days will be allowed to complete the work. Additional time will be allowed for procurement. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The Town shall have the right to reject any or all bids not accompanied by bid security or data required by the bidding documents or a bid in any way incomplete or irregular.
