Broadband Project. SCOPE OF WORK The Borough is seeking professional technical, architectural, and engineering (all necessary disciplines) services to include but not be limited to, design development, estimating, and construction administrative services for the purpose of preparing a comprehensive report, design options, bid documents and estimates in support for the construction of three Broadband communication sites in or at the existing Central Peninsula Hospital, Kenai Central High School, and the Kenai Borough Administration building. This project shall be funded in full through the Environmental Protection Agency: State and Tribal Assistance Grants, Clean Water State Revolving Fund. The full and complete terms and provisions of which shall be incorporated by this reference in the RFP and in the covered transaction. Federal funds for this project are identified by the Assistance Listing Number 66.202 Congressionally Mandated Projects. Description The Kenai Peninsula Borough hereby invites qualified firms to submit proposals for acceptance by the Borough for professional architectural and engineering (all disciplines) services. This is to include inspection, design, estimating services for the purpose of preparing a comprehensive report, design options, bid documents and estimates in support construction of multiple broadband communication rooms and infrastructure. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. The Borough may reject any or all proposals if the mayor determines that it is in the best interest of the Borough and may waive irregularities, other than the requirements for timeliness and manual signature, if the irregularities do not affect the competitive advantage of any proposer.
