Site work for a water / sewer project in Neville Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope of work includes meter pit improvements including installation of backflow device, piping and fittings and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Township to guarantee the bidder's entrance into the contract if given the award. Contract value exceeding $25,000 Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Work included under this project (Contract No. 23- W2 - Source Meter Pit Improvements) consists of the installation of a backflow prevention pit downstream of the existing Neville Road Meter Pit, fire hydrant assembly, appurtenances to be installed for the railroad meter pit including an additional gate valve, backflow prevention device, dismantling joint and additional ductile iron piping, connections to the existing water system, concrete and bituminous reconstruction and all necessary appurtenances and other restoration for said construction
