**Per Addendum 3 the bid date has been extended from 06/06/24 to 06/13/24** PROJECT DESCRIPTION 1. The specifications/drawings describe the work to be done and materials to be provided for upgrades to the existing controls at Griffith Tower for the heat pump unit central plant, and all associated components as specified in the Contract Documents. 2. The Contractor and Subcontractors affected by site conditions must visit the site. By submission of their bid, the contractor acknowledges that they have acquainted themselves with all conditions which may affect the work as would be evidenced from a thorough examination of the job site, review of "Invitation to Bid" and these specifications covering the work for the purpose of coordinating their work and cost, and agrees that the Owner will not be held liable for any additional costs incurred by the Contractor for causes or conditions which could or should have been determined by such an examination. 3. The Contractor must protect the building and all existing building equipment, materials and all existing utilities during the construction period. Any damaged materials, equipment or utilities must be repaired or replaced. The Contractor must receive, unload, store, protect and install all equipment and ensure the equipment just as if they had purchased the equipment themself. 4. The Owner will provide the Contractor with items listed on the drawings as iBy Owneri. 5. All work shall be scheduled and completed with close coordination with the Owner and without disruption of service. Function of the HVAC system shall be maintained throughout the project.
