Suntree Place and Old Oak Avenue Storm Drain Improvements In accordance with the plans and specifications, this work shall consist of Storm drain improvements to mitigate historical flooding located at Suntree Place and Old Oak Avenue. The work shall be completed in its entirety on or before August 30, 2024. The completion dates are predicated on the intent of ACHD to issue a Notice to Proceed to the Contractor on or about June 17, 2024. ACHD shall be entitled to Liquidated Damages of $1,000 for each calendar day of delay in the completion of the work. A delay on one portion of the project does not justify delays on other portions of the project. Proposals must be accompanied by an original or photocopy or electronic version, e.g. PDF, FAX, etc. of certified check, cashier's check, or a bid bond (collectively referred to hereafter as "Bid Security") issued by a surety authorized to issue such bonds in the State of Idaho, in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the proposal submitted. The right is reserved to reject all proposals or reject any proposal not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Contract Documents whenever such action appears to be in the best interest of ACHD. Award of a contract pursuant to this invitation may be delayed, without penalty, for up to sixty (60) calendar days after the date of bid. Expected Contract Bonding Requirement: $310,000.00
