Work covered under this Contract generally includes, but is not limited to, the following: Stripping and stockpiling of final cover soils on from the existing Municipal Site Landfill Installation of approximately 15 acres of liner system within Area E Cell 3A Construction of a mechanically stabilized earth berm Installation of haul and access roads Installation of leachate collection and conveyance features Installation of gas collection and control system appurtenances Stormwater management and control system features. All Work and related activities are to occur at the Chester County Solid Waste Authority's Lanchester Landfill and Reclamation Center, located in Narvon, PA. The Contractor shall include the furnishing of all labor, required materials (not specifically listed as owner supplied), equipment, services, and the performance of all operations required to complete the Work as indicated on the Contract Drawings and in accordance with the Contract Documents. Question Deadline 05/17/2024 at 5:00 PM ET Online Portal Bid security in the form a Certified Check or Bid Bond shall be furnished with the bid in an amount not less than 10%. The estimated cost for each Contract is greater than Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply. The Owner reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any and all Bids and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects, or irregularities in any Bid at its sole discretion.
