Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lancaster Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The work generally consists of providing concrete repair of curbing and sidewalks which have been disturbed during water and wastewater installations by the City of Lancaster or its contractors prior to or during the term of the contract. Questions Due Date: Apr 8th 2025, 4:00 PM EDT The successful bidder shall be required to comply with all applicable laws protecting individuals from discrimination. The Project and contract are subject to certain requirements, including to make payment of certain minimum salaries and wages and other applicable requirements of federal and state law. The City will determine who is the lowest responsible bidder(s) upon the basis of the bids submitted. The lowest responsible bidder(s) need not be the bidder submitting the lowest dollar amount. The City may consider the quality of services supplied, responsiveness of the bidder, past performance of the bidder, compatibility of the bidder's processes with other City services, the bidder's ability to handle the volume of work proposed, the ability of the bidder to work with other contractors in the context of a multi-prime contract. Further, consideration will be given to such matters as contractor integrity, compliance with public policy, record of past performance, and financial and technical resources. The City reserves the right to reject the bid of any bidder not possessing satisfactory qualifications. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and re-advertise if the best interest of the City will thereby be promoted. The City also reserves the right to waive technical defects if in its judgment, the interest of the City shall so require. The City further reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bids received and reject any or all bids for any reason whatsoever. Included in its right to reject bids, is the right for the City, in its sole discretion, to reject bids which are deemed by the City to be incomplete, conditional, or obscure, or which contain additions, erasures, alterations, omissions or irregularities of any kind. 1.1 The Contractor agrees to furnish all labor, materials, supplies, necessary equipment supervision and every other item necessary to perform all work necessary for, or incidental to, and perform all other obligations imposed by this Agreement (this Agreement may be referred to as the "Contract") for, the complete Work in connection with 2025 Concrete Repair Contract herein called for, all in strict accordance with the Contract Documents as prepared in this Agreement. 1.2 The Contract Documents are defined in the Standard General Conditions. The Contract Documents include all documents which are part of and completed in the Bid Documents for Contract ##2025-06 and comprise the entire Agreement between City and Contractor, all of which are incorporated in this Agreement and made a part hereof. The Contract Documents may only be altered, amended, or repealed as described in the Contract Documents. 1.2.1 In the event of a discrepancy among the Contract Documents, the provisions of this Agreement and the provisions of the Supplemental Conditions, if any, shall take precedence over the Standard General Conditions. 1.3 The Drawings for the Work covered under this Agreement consist of the following sheet(s): Curb and Sidewalk Details 2024 Street Details 1312019
