Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Amherst, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

As of July 12, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Metal Bridge Railing Approximately 120 linear feet of Metal Bridge Rail to replace the existing Type ST-3 bridge rail on the West Street Bridge over the Fort River (State Bridge ID A-08-003). Typical post spacing is approximately 6 ft on center with varied end post spacing. The rail shall be constructed in six parts with allowance for five expansion joints. Wherever applicable, the conditions of Employment and Prevailing State Wage Rate, as set forth by the Massachusetts Department of Labor and Industries, as contained in specifications, shall prevail in the execution of work under this contract. The Town of Amherst reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part, and to waive informalities, when at its sole discretion is deemed to be in the best interests of the Town and to the extent permitted by law. Question Deadline 05/21/2024 All questions shall be emailed to Simone Cristofori at cristoforis@amherstma.gov . Questions and inquiries will be accepted from any and all bidders and must be in writing. Questions will be answered in writing and both questions and answers will be distributed to all bidders who receive the IFB provided, however, that all questions are received at least seven (7) days in advance of the bidding deadline.
