Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Amherst, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work to be done under this contract shall consist of furnishing all labor, material, equipment and incidentals required to apply brick patterned crosswalks and retroreflective thermoplastic lines to various asphalt crosswalks throughout the Town of Amherst. The Town is specifying Traffic Patterns XD imprinted thermoplastic faux brick walkways and islands, or approved equal. The desired pattern is a horizontal running brick bond pattern with a soldier course brick border in a brick color. Examples of the desired pattern(s) are included in Part 7 of this bid document. Work included in the first year of this bid will also include the marking of a large asphalt plaza and two crosswalks adjacent to Amherst Town Hall currently under construction. (See attached plan sheet) Question Deadline 06/06/2024 at 1:00 PM ET Contractors are required to submit all questions to the Engineer by 1:00 P.M. seven (7) days before the scheduled bid opening date All questions shall be emailed to Simone Cristofori at cristoforis@amherstma.gov . Contractor Qualification Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000.
