Remove and Replace Poured-in-placed Playground Surfacing All requests must be submitted by 2 p.m., February 5, 2025. An addendum answering any questions will be posted by 5 p.m., February 10, 2025 Prior to beginning any service that shall be furnished under this specification, Contractor shall secure the appropriate business license from the City of Tracy. Project shall include all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to remove existing poured-in-place, prepare existing concrete base, and install new poured-in-place rubber playground surfacing at William Adams Park, 4089 English Oak Ave, Tracy, CA, in the 2-5 age and 5-12 age specific playground areas to thicknesses required to attenuate falls per ASTM Standards F1487-21. See Exhibit A. The materials shall be new, fresh materials designed and suitable for playground surfacing and fall impact attenuation, as outlined in Exhibit A, meeting all ASTM F1487- 21 standards, including F1292 for impact absorption and F1951 for handicap/wheelchair access. Color of wear layer to be beige. 6x6 sample of proposed materials must be submitted with bid packet. The Project is in the 2-5 age and 5-12 age specific playground areas of William Adams Park, 4089 English Oak Ave, Tracy, CA. The term shall begin immediately following the execution of the agreement between the City and the Contractor and end on or before December 31, 2025 The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any irregularities. The City will award the agreement to the lowest responsible bidder.
