CITY OF TRACY (hereinafter "City") requests bids ("NIB") from qualified Contractors to provide professional hazardous waste removal services. The purpose of this NIB is to obtain competitive bid that will provide the best value to the City of Tracy for removing and disposing hazardous waste materials. The City desires to remove hazardous waste materials by loading, hauling, and safely disposing them in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. INTERPRETATIONS OF THE NOTICE INVITING BIDS. If the Bidder is in doubt as to the meaning of any part of the NIB or finds discrepancies in or omissions from the NIB, the Bidder shall submit to the CITY a written request for an interpretation or clarification prior to the time for opening the NIBs. All such requests should be emailed to Tu.Nguyen@CityofTracy.org no later than July 18, 2024 at 3:00 pm. The Bidders shall be responsible for the prompt delivery of the request. The CITY shall not be responsible for any explanation or interpretations of the NIB other than by written addendum posted on the City's website no later than July 23, 2024. No oral interpretations of any provision in the NIB shall be binding upon the CITY. The CITY reserves the right to award the bid to a bidder other than the low bidder if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the City. The City also reserves the right to reduce the scope of work at any time and to reject any and all bids or waive any irregularities in any bid process.
