It is anticipated a capital improvement project will begin construction on Avondale Road NE between Novelty Hill Road and 104 th St in summer 2024. The selected Contractor for this project is expected to coordinate work activities with the capital improvement project. City may reduce the amount of paving on Avondale Road NE by up to 260 SY in the northbound curb lane from the pavement repair project. The capital improvement project is proposing to pave this amount in the northbound curb lane on Avondale about 450 ft north of the Fairwinds retirement home entrance. The City of Redmond, WA is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to conduct pavement repair at Old Redmond Road and Avondale Road NE. Contractors are to provide all personnel, mobile equipment, supplies and transportation, essential labor, and materials necessary to complete the work. Contractor is responsible for obtaining all licenses and permits to accomplish the work. Contractor must submit traffic control plan for both areas within fifteen (15) business days before commencing work on site. Work will not commence until City approves traffic control plans. Bid pricing must include all costs to provide traffic control. All project work areas are to be left in clean condition prior to final inspection and acceptance. Removal and disposal of any scrap material is to be done in compliance with all local and federal laws and requirements.
