Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Asbury, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The work for which bids are asked includes the following: Full removal of asphalt cart paths and construction of 7-feet wide, 5-inch thick reinforced concrete cart paths at the Meadows Golf Course located on Clover Lane in the City of Asbury. Additional bid alternate options related to cart path removal, replacement, and construction are also included with the project. Consideration of awarding bid alternate options will be dependent on the results of the OWNER's evaluation of available funds. Each BIDDER shall accompany its bid with a bid security as security that the successful BIDDER will enter into a contract for the work bid upon and will furnish after the award of CONTRACT a corporate surety bond, acceptable to the OWNER, for the faithful performance of the CONTRACT, in an amount equal to 100 percent of the amount of the CONTRACT. The bid security shall be in an amount fixed by the OWNER and shall be in the form of a cashier's check, or certified check drawn on a state chartered or federally charted bank, or a certified share draft drawn on a state chartered or federally chartered credit union. The Bid Bond shall contain no exceptions. The successful BIDDER shall be required to furnish a performance BOND and a payment BOND, each in the amount of 100 percent of the CONTRACT PRICE, with a corporate surety approved by the OWNER, within ten (10) calendar days of the date when the NOTICE OF AWARD is delivered to the BIDDER. The NOTICE OF AWARD shall be accompanied by the necessary AGREEMENT and BOND forms. In case of failure of the BIDDER to execute the AGREEMENT, the OWNER may at his option consider the BIDDER in default, in which case the BID BOND shall become property of the OWNER. All work will commence on July 5th, 2024, at the earliest, following the issuance of a written notice to proceed. The work will be substantially completed on or before October 11, 2024 and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 14.07 of the General Conditions on or before October 18, 2024. Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
