Renovation of a transportation facility in Jackson, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.

The Jackson Municipal Airport Authority ("JMAA") is seeking bids for construction and related services for the Baggage Belt Replacement project (the "Work") at Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport. This project is anticipated to receive a Bi-Partisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) grant from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The selected firm must be familiar with the process and required documentation associated with the FAA's grant process. This includes, but is not limited to, FAA grant assurances, FAA airport design standards, 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 77 airspace requirements, as well as familiarization with applicable FAA Orders, Advisory Circulars (AC), and Interim Guidance. This project includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of all outbound and inbound baggage belts at Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport. More specifically, this project will include removal of the existing baggage belt system, installation of the proposed baggage belt system, any building modifications required for installation of the proposed system, installation of new fire doors, electrical power improvements, DocuSign Envelope ID: CFC7A9FA-33B1-4EC0-966B-1BEAD1534ADF Baggage Belt Replacement Project Number 043-24 Page 5 of 129 and all other procurement, materials, labor, construction safety equipment, training, commissioning, warranty, and incidentals necessary to perform the work. Award of contract will be based on the lowest bid submitted from those bidders that are confirmed as being responsive and responsible. Only those Bids timely received, in proper form and meeting all qualifications will be considered. Upon receipt, each Proposal will be reviewed for conformance to the RFB instructions regarding organization, format, and required content. Proposals that are missing information such that a full evaluation cannot occur will be deemed nonresponsive and ineligible for further consideration. Contact for JMAA.
