Renovation of a residential development in Newton, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
As of July 15, 2024, project has not yet been awarded. Project is scheduled to be awarded at an NHA Commissioners meeting this coming Monday evening. The Newton Housing Authority, New Jersey will accept bids for the following services: "Gazebo Roof Replacement It is the Housing Authority's desire to retain duly qualified, competent, and capable contractors and vendors. All services must be in accordance with the existing laws, rules, orders, directives, and regulations governing these services and supplies. The services that are requested will be as follows: 1) Remove wood shakes to the furring strips; 2) Cut and install new ½ inch plywood; 3) Install rubber ice and water shield over plywood; 4) Install Timberline HDZ 50-year asphalt self-sealing shingles with 1 1/4-inch nails (color-charcoal). 5) Install Timbertex Ridge Caps and/or Seal-A-Ridge at peaks of roof. 6) The contractor will be required to remove all related debris at the conclusion of each workday. Do not discard in the Housing Authority’s dumpster. 7)The contractor shall always maintain a safe and secure work area. The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received for these services. It also reserves the right to terminate the vendor, for convenience, at any time during the term of the contract.
