Renovation of a municipal facility in Newton, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Roofing Bid Any bid document received after the deadline established by the Department of Purchasing will not be accepted, regardless of the method of delivery. Technical Specifications a. Location of work is Municipal Building 1 Rumsey Way, b. Remove existing shingle roof down to deck c. Identify and remove any damaged wood as a change order if necessary. d. Install Timberline shingles. Vented ridge Cap e. Install Ice & Water shield per New Jersey building code. f. Install synthetic underlayment on entire roof. g. Install flash vent pipes and exhaust vents. h. Install - 7" Seamless gutter with leaders. i. Contractor is responsible to follow OSHA compliant safety measures and clean up all job- related debris daily Submission of Bid: If indicated, bid proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of ten per centum (10%) of the total amount of the bid, but not in excess of twenty thousand ($20,000) dollars and made payable to Hampton Township. The bid bond may also be provided in certified check and cashier's check in accord with provisions within general requirements of this bid. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A.10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. This bid has been advertised in accordance with the "Fair and Open Basis" (N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5). Location of work will be the Hampton Township Municipal Building located at 1 Rumsey Way, Newton, NJ 07860 and the Department of Public Works Garage, 3 Rumsey Way, Newton, NJ 07860
