QUESTIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY: 06/03/2024 12:00:00 The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT), District 1 Bridge Maintenance, is soliciting for 2 handheld devices that have the capabilities of detecting rebar, post tension cable, metal, or any other concrete embedded material within the structural elements of our bridges. The devices will need to have specific capabilities that will be detailed for the solicitation. The purpose of these devices will be for the bridge maintenance crews to accurately avoid self-inflicted damage to the State's bridges while performing maintenance repairs. These devices will provide real time imagery of the embedded elements so that they can be marked, mapped, and avoided during maintenance operations. Start date: 07/01/2024 End date: 06/30/2025.
