This Contract provides for the improvement of bicycle and pedestrian facilities on a portion of Emerson Ave (SR 109) and Levee St (US 101). Work consists of replacing existing cement concrete sidewalk with an HMA combined-use path, traffic signal modifications to provide protected crossings of southbound and northbound US 101, channelization revisions along SR 109 between Adams St and Levee St (US 101), curb extensions, and minor stormwater improvements.
