The project consists of the following: Installing accessible trails along the City's wetland park, installing an ADA handicap parking area along 8th Street, installing a new pavilion with ADA restrooms, an overlook and installing new ADA curb ramps along the project area. Project includes demolition, excavation, utilities, cast-in-place concrete, masonry, miscellaneous steel, aluminum railing, rough carpentry, pre-engineered wood trusses, metal roofing, viny soffit, hollow metal doors and frames, door hardware, aluminum windows, painting, toilet accessories, ADA curb ramps, paving patch, gravel pathways, seeding and mulching, etc. Question Deadline 05/23/2024 at 4:00 PM ET Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents via online to the date for receipt of bids or by email to skeck@ces-engr.com. A certified check or bank draft payable to the order of The City of Sunbury, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the Bid, shall be submitted with each bid. The Bidder shall include the fully completed Non-Collusion Affidavit with the bid. A Performance and Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the amount of the contract and a Warranty Bond for 10% of the amount of the contract issued by a corporate surety authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will be required to be furnished by the successful bidder. Bids may be held by the City for up to 60 days from the date of opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities, or to negotiate contract amounts.
