Work of the Project includes the repair and rehabilitation of the Mill Creek Interceptor Sewer (MCI) south of CSO 003. The repair will consist of site stabilization via shoring, spot repair existing sewer and structural rehabilitation of MCI approximately 880 linear feet. The Work shall be performed for the CITY in accordance with the Contract Documents. The Work includes, but is not limited to, demolition, removal, replacement, installation of new equipment and/or modifications to existing equipment to the following areas and processes: 1. Work is located in and around the MCI which is located in the west bank of the Mill Creek. 2. The work includes spot repair, bypass pumping, bulkheading the sewer to create a safe work zone, ventilation, sewer preparation for repair and lining. 3. The MSDGC will assist with the flow diversion by opening a cross over connections between the MCI and Auxillary MCI, managing CSO structures to handle flows above those of transfer and by pass pumping.
