Project Number: 438-24-201 Install Laundry Natural Gas Line(SF) POCs: John Breyer at john.breyerva.gov and Angie Mabley at angelique.mableyva.gov The contractor will be required to provide all tools, materials, equipment, labor, and supervision necessary to complete the project in accordance with the drawings, specifications and scope of work. The purpose of this project is to add approximately 450 linear feet of 4-inch diameter steel natural gas piping, from an existing natural gas line (buried) to the laundry building on the VAMC campus. This work includes, but is not limited to survey, site excavation, trenching, pipe installation, pipe testing, backfilling, concrete & pavement, wall covering and protection, and asbestos remediation. This solicitation is issued in accordance with Public Law 109-461, the Veterans Benefits, Healthcare Information and Technology Act of 2006, Sections 502 and 503, as a set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns. Pursuant to 38 USC 8127(d), Veterans First Contracting Program, competition is restricted to SDVOSB construction firms, as there is an expectation that offers will be received by two (2) or more SDVOSB contractors under this solicitation.
