Site work and paving for a road / highway in Kitchener, Ontario. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Intersection improvements on Highway 8 and Vanier Drive and Morrison Road. The site is located within the City of Cambridge, Ontario between Branchton Road and Vanier Drive on Highway 8/Dundas Street South. The investigated section of Highway 8/Dundas Street South is a two-lane, non-divided approximately 1.2 km long and aligned in an East-West direction with a normal posted regulatory speed of 80 km per hour. The Highway 8 right-of-way (ROW) along the investigated section is about 25 m wide and the highway platform including gravel shoulders is about 15 m wide. Land use in the area of the site is primarily agricultural and rural residential. TIMELINE: Project is in design. Further update may be available summer 2026.
