Muhlenberg Junior High School (MJHS) Chiller Replacement The undersigned reserves the right to waive informalities or defects in a bid to the extent permitted under Pennsylvania Law and to reject any or all bids or parts thereof. A. Remove: Detach items from existing construction and legally dispose of them off-site unless indicated to be removed and salvaged or removed and reinstalled. B. Remove and Salvage: Carefully detach from existing construction, in a manner to prevent damage, and deliver to Owner ready for reuse. C. Remove and Reinstall: Detach items from existing construction, prepare for reuse, and reinstall where indicated. D. Existing to Remain: Existing items of construction that are not to be permanently removed and that are not otherwise indicated to be removed, removed and salvaged, or removed and reinstalled. Project Description: Project consists of relocation of one (1) existing fiber optic line; relocation and replacement of two (2) 15KV electrical feeders to the Jr. High and Intermediate School. New pad mount transformer and Switchboard sections including breaker for new chiller and pumps; removal of existing water-cooled chiller, cooling tower, remote sump, condenser water pumps, and condenser water piping; installation of new air cooled chiller, chilled water pumps, flat plate and frame heat exchanger and dedicated chilled water system; and associated sitework on existing school site. Any Prime Contractor that intends to bid the project through receipt of documents from sources other than the Architect, must notify the Architect's Office of their intent to bid. Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall submit written requests to the Architect, which shall be received by the Architect no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to the date for receipt of Bids. No oral questions from Bidders will be reviewed or accepted. Also, no questions will be received by the Owner. Any conflict, inconsistency, or discrepancy in the Bidding Documents shall be reported to the Architect at least seven (7) calendar days prior to submission of the Bid. 3.2.4 Any interpretation, correction or change of the Bidding Documents will be made by Addendum. Interpretations, corrections or changes of the Bidding Documents made in any other manner will not be binding, and Bidders shall not rely upon such other interpretations, corrections and changes
