Site work for a water / sewer project in West Jordan, Utah. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of West Jordan requests proposals from Pre-Qualified Consulting Engineering Firms for the planning, design, and construction management required for the design of a regional detention pond. The current Storm drain Master Plan of the City of West Jordan contemplates a regional detention facility to be constructed on the west side of U-111 along Barneys Creek to intercept and detain storm water flows coming from tributary watershed areas of the Oquirrh Mountains. The tributary links from the 2023 report are C33 and C36, with 100-year flows of 166 and 68 cfs respectively, for a total inflow of 234 cfs. The outflow will be designed to be limited to 23 cfs as indicated by crossing C37A from the same report. The West Jordan 2023 Storm Water Master Plan model is available to the winning consultant for use during this project.
