The City of West Jordan requests proposals from qualified Interior and Exterior Sign Design, Fabrication, and Installation Contractors There are multiple City-owned structures, buildings, parking lots, recreational parks, walkways, gateways, a cemetery, and a new Community Arts Center that is expected to be completed in May 2025. Established locations and structures have signs that may need to be replaced with new signs as budgets allow. In some cases, new signs may be needed in locations described above that currently do not have any signage. There are multiple City-owned structures, buildingsThe scope of work may include signage for but is not limited to, programming and analysis, design concept and schematic designs, wayfinding, directional, building interior and exterior identification, city gateway entrances, site monuments, and parking, along with ADA compliance as applicable. Items and services to be considered as part of the scope of work include: o City campus signage master planning services. o Gateway signs. Design new gateway signs that can be seen from all applicable approaches. o Building interior and exterior identification. Establish design standards to identify all city buildings and interior spaces. o Wayfaring and directional signage. Establish design standards, text, and locations of wayfaring and directional signs for vehicular traffic and foot traffic. o Incorporation of applicable ADA design guidelines. o Temporary directional signage. Design a system for wayfinding to special events that may occur throughout the city. o Traffic and parking signage. This service may include all campus driveways, building and park venue entries, parking lots, and other specific regulation signs. Questions arising subsequent to the issuance of this RFP, that could have a significant impact on the responses to the RFP, should be submitted in the RFP Question and Answer section Event Number # WJPS24062001. Questions are due by July 10, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. MT. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received, and to select the proposal deemed to be the most advantageous and in the best interest of the City. Non-acceptance of a proposal will mean that one or more others were deemed more advantageous to the City or that all proposals were rejected. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
