The City of Lake Worth Beach (the "City") is seeking qualifications from interested professional consulting companies/firms regarding the development of the City's Municipal Beach Complex. The City is seeking to hire a consultant to provide advice, evaluate location feasibility, develop potential options for the facility and property and lead the City through the process of planning and implementation of the future development for the Casino complex and pool located in the City of Lake Worth Beach. The City emphasizes that many years ago, the City's 19 acres of ocean front land were with great foresight and vision set aside as a public park, for the benefit of the residents of Lake Worth Beach. While concessions have long been allowed, and while it is beneficial for limited activities within this area to contribute favorably to the City's finances, the primary intent of this land is for public enjoyment of the natural wonders of the Atlantic Ocean. The services consist of the site and building assessment activities, development of potential activities, real estate feasibility and budgeting activities, community/stakeholder outreach activities, solicitation and contract negotiation activities, and other related services.
