Reference Number 0000353282 Aurora Water (AW) is requesting written proposals from qualified firms to provide engineering services for rehabilitation design at several different locations in the stormwater system. AW is looking to address insufficiencies in the corrugated metal pipes (CMP) identified in the 2023 CMP Condition Assessment project. In the 2023 project, areas of concern were identified based on condition and then prioritized based on business risk exposure into rehabilitation years from 2025 to 2032. The prioritization on each pipe segment was based on the results of the CCTV (closed circuit television) and manual inspections of the pipes, as well as consideration of the consequences of should the pipe fail (what would the impact be). Recommendations for rehabilitation, either replacement, lining or point repair, were made for each of the years. This design project will cover locations that were recommended for rehabilitation construction in 2025.
