Construction of a Storage Facility. SCOPE OF WORK The storage facility will consist of a 100' x 140' steel building with a separation wall from the floor to the ceiling to separate two departments. We will need all excavation preparation, moving fence lines, installing electrical, concrete and erect the pole barn. The property is depicted in the attached Exhibit E. 1. Fully insulated Jefferson County ("County") is requesting Design-Build proposals from qualified firms ("Contractor") to provide architectural and related design, engineering and construction services for the construction of a storage shed at the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office ("JCSO"). This project qualifies as a public improvement and is subject to prevailing wage rates. The County may reject any proposal not in compliance with all prescribed solicitation procedures and requirements and other applicable law and may reject any or all proposals in whole or in part when the cancellation or rejection is in the best interest of the County. Requests for information regarding County services, programs, or personnel, or any other information shall be submitted in writing directly to the Director at the address in the Invitation. All requests for additional information shall be submitted in writing. Answers shall be provided to all Proposers of record on the date that answers are available. It is expected that the project will be completed not later than September 30, 2024. Any extension to the deadline must be approved by the County. Failure to complete the project by this date may result in penalties per the Contract language.
