The 2024 Multi-Municipal Street Paving Bid Proposal. 2024 Multi-Municipal Bituminous Paving Bid Proposal Paradise Township: 7,245 Tons of 9.5mm Wearing Course at 180 lb/sy 2,858 Tons of 9.5mm Leveling Course at 60 or 90 lb/sy 8,660 LF 4" Double Yellow Lines w/ Glass Beads 17,320 LF 4" White Edge Lines w/ Glass Beads Mount Pocono Borough: 1,154 Tons of 9.5mm Wearing Course at 180 lb/sy 213 Tons of 9.5mm Leveling Course at 60 or 90 lb/sy 968 Ton of 19 mm Binder Course All materials must meet PennDOT Publication 408 Specifications and Standards. Bidders for the 2024 Multi-Municipal Bituminous Paving Bid Proposal must be PennDOT prequalified and must supply proof of prequalification. Proposals must be on forms provided by the Township. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the total bid. For the 2024 Multi-Municipal Bituminous Paving Bid Proposal, this check or bid bond will be made payable to Paradise Township. PA Prevailing Wages will apply to this contract. Each Municipality will award their respective portion of the contract. The successful bidder for the 2024 Multi-Municipal Bituminous Paving Bid Proposal will be required to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the individual Municipality's awarded contract amount within 20 days of the award of the contract. Each individual municipality will issue their own notice of award. Paradise Township Board of Supervisors and Mount Pocono Borough Council reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and also to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interested of the Township and/or Borough.
