Site work and paving for a road / highway in Pownal, Vermont. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
New Pavement 1. TH 73 West Meadow Ct., From Blacktop around back to Blacktop and short section heading west. 2280 ' X 18' wide X 3.5" Thick.2. TH 4 Maple Grove Road, From transfer station to 981 Pitt Road. 1800' X 20 1" Shim and 1" top. Air temperature must be a minimum of 50 degrees, the road temperature must be above 50 degrees. A rubber-tired roller must be used on shim coat in order to knead the pavement in existing road profile. Areas which have shim and overlays applied shall first be sprayed with a tack coat. Work must be completed within 90 days after acceptance of the bid. The Town of Pownal reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informality when deemed to be in the best interest of the town. The town reserves the right to alter the list of roads to be paved in the FY 25 paving season. All bids must be valid for 120 days from the bid opening date
