Renovation of a municipal facility in Rock Island, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The County of Rock Island seeks proposals from qualified vendors to provide restorative and cleaning services for various historical monuments located in Historic Courthouse Square. 1. Existing Soldiers Limestone Monument Disassembled, additional pieces added & Refurbished. 2. Multi War Memorial Cleaned, Resealed, Base Reworked & Additional carved lettering. 3. Cowl Vent Refurbish and base replacement. 4. Gettysburg Address Plaque Mounted. 5. Spanish American War Bronze Plaques Refurbished. 6. Ladies of GA Republic Plaques Refurbished. 7. Spanish American War Memorial Granite Cleaned & Resealed. 8. New Soldiers Memorial Complimenting the existing Monument. Technical questions or requests for clarification should be submitted to Jim Grafton by 5/24/24. All questions received will be responded too and posted on the Rock Island County website on 05/28/24. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all responses to this RFQ. The County also reserves the right to enter into discussions and/or negotiations with one or more qualified suppliers at the same time.
