Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Galena, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Work for the project includes but is not limited to grading, seeding, PCC sidewalks and patio, electrical, masonry, concrete foundations, masonry, and coordination with existing building and site. No Pre-Bid Conference will be conducted for this project. Work to commence on or about June 24, 2024 with completion of work as follows: Substantial Completion shall be July 31, 2024 with Final Completion happening no later than August 14, 2024. First day of school is tentatively set for August 19, 2024. Each Bid shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid submitted. Bid Security must be in one of the following forms: Certified Check, Cashier's Check, Credit Union Certified Share Draft or an approved Bond Form. Bid security shall be made payable to the Galena USD #120. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Certificate of Insurance and Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds both in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price and in accordance with other requirements outlined in the Bid Documents. Should the successful bidder fail or neglect to furnish satisfactory performance/payment bonds, refuse to enter into a Contract on the basis of the bid, or fail to meet the requirements of this Notice and the specifications regulating the award, the bidder's security may be retained as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of forty-five (45) calendar days after the date and hour set for opening of bid The right is reserved to reject any and all bids, or any part thereof, and to waive informalities or irregularities and to enter into such Contract or Contracts as shall be deemed in the best interests of the Galena USD #120.
