Site work for a civil project in Coal City, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Water Tower And Clarifier Re-Coating. The Successful Bidder Shall Provide at Least 40% of All Labor Required for the Completion of This Project. The Bid Shall Be Accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond, in the Amount of Five Percent (5%) of the Gross Amount of the Bid and Be Payable to the Order of the Village of Coal City. Bidders Wishing to Observe the Proposed Project Should Make Arrangements With the Engineer, Don Bixby, at (815) 223-3344. Bids May Be Held by the Village of Coal City for a Period Not to Exceed 60 Days From the Date of the Opening of Bids for the Purpose of Reviewing the Bids and Investigating the Qualifications of Bidders, Prior to Awarding of the Contract. The Owner Reserves the Right to Accept or Reject Any or All Bids and to Waive Any Informalities in the Bidding. Exterior and Interior Wet Re-coating of 138' tall, 300,000 gallon, 1978 Chicago Bridge & Iron Pedesphere Tank with logo/lettering included. Some interior dry repair and re-coating included, along with miscellaneous repairs. Tower located at 740 N. Broadway St. Also includes re-coating of clarifier equipment at Wastewater Treatment Plant, 820 N. Broadway St Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered
