Site work for a water / sewer project in Coal City, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work for this project includes but is not limited to: Remove and replace lead service lines in the Village of Coal City. The successful Bidder shall provide at least 40% of all labor required for the completion of this project. The Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the gross amount of the bid and be payable to the order of the Village of Coal City. Bids may be held by the Village of Coal City for a period not to exceed 90 days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Each BID must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Village Clerk at Village of Coal City, 515 South Broadway, Coal City, IL 60416. Each sealed envelope containing a BID must be plainly marked on the outside as BID for "Village of Coal City - Lead Service Lines Replacement" and the envelope should bear on the outside the name of the BIDDER, his/her address, his/her license number if applicable and the name of the project for which the BID is submitted. If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the BID must be enclosed in another envelope addressed to the OWNER at Village of Coal City, 515 South Broadway, Coal City, IL 60416.
