The Project consists of upgrading the City's existing water service meters with new system-wide advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) meters, which includes replacing approximately 364 5/8-inch by 3/4-inch water meters, 72 1-inch water meters, and 22 2-inch water meters; as well as supplying the Owner with approximately 30 5/8-inch by 3/4-inch water meters, nine 1-inch water meters, and seven 2-inch water meters. Work shall also include providing the Owner with a new AMI system with acoustic leak detection (ALD) capabilities, including two AMI with ALD station installations. The Project also includes performing a system-wide water service line inventory and tracking the results in an Owner-provided GIS database. Restoration of any disturbed surfaces during the inventory shall occur, together with all other Work required to complete the Project as shown on the Drawings and described in the Specifications. The Work will be substantially completed on or before September 13, 2024, Final completion- on or before September 30, 2024. Est. Value Notes: $700,000 TO $750,000. A pre-bid conference will not be held for this Project. The successful Contractor shall work closely with the Owner and the Engineer to complete the Work in an efficient manner, minimizing disruption of the City's water service to customers. The Contract is subject to the applicable provisions of ORS 279C.800 through ORS 279C.870, the Oregon Prevailing Wage Law.
