Site work and paving for a civil project in Honesdale, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC) is soliciting electronic bids for maintenance of a section of Beach Lake Road on State Game Lands (SGL) #57. The scope of the project includes making drainage improvements, road surface preparation and roadway construction with 4-inch Minus Stone. The Commonwealth reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technical defects in bids and to accept or reject any part of the bid deemed in the best interests of the Commonwealth. Site Walkthrough Description: You may also contact John Wright, PGC Wyoming County Crew, at 570-928-7384. This phone number is for the PGC Wyoming County maintenance building on State Game Lands #57. The personnel that operate out of this building are frequently in the field; please leave a message and your call will be returned. The project area is gated and may not be open to public travel. Permission is not required to visit the site; however, we recommend contacting Mr. Briggs or Mr. Wright for directions and for status of road conditions before going to the site. Install corrugated plastic drainage pipes with precast concrete headwalls, grade road surface and place a new stone surface on a 2.49-mile long section of existing road on state game lands. This project involves the maintenance of a 13,172-feet (2.49-miles) long section ofBeach Lake Road on State Game Lands (SGL) #57. The project includes replacing drainage pipes, grading, road base construction and related work. This work is implementing the erosion and sedimentation control measures during project construction. Compliance with Chapter 102 ofthe Department of Environmental Protection's regulations is also required. This work is minor trimming of overhanging limbs and branches along the road alignment. This work is removing and disposing ofthe existing drainage pipes under the road This work is furnishing and installing drainage pipes under the roadway. Refer to project layout in Section 10.2 ofthe Technical Specifications for the pipe locations. This work is constructing a foundation bed and backfilling the drainage pipes as shown on the Drawings. This work is installing precast concrete headwalls for the new drainage pipes as shown on the Drawings. Refer to the project layout in Section 10.2 ofthe Technical Specifications for information on the location of each new drainage pipe. This work is installing riprap splash pads at the outlets ofthe new drainage pipes. This work is preparing the road surface by removing leaflitter and scarifying as shown on the Drawings. This work is constructing the new road surfaces on the existing alignments with a layer of 4-inch Minus Stone as shown on the Drawings This work is securing a satisfactory stand of grass at all disturbed areas along the roadway including the drainage turnouts and includes preparation ofthe seed bed, furnishing and placing fertilizer, furnishing and sowing ofseed, mulching, and maintaining and tending the seeded areas.
