Site work and paving for a civil project in Greenville, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The City of Greenville will receive sealed bids to provide traffic control for lane shifts to adjust 14 drainage structures and 6 water gate valves and stabilize the pavement around 16 structures in M-57 and M-91. For adjustment of structures, the scope of work will require the removal of cracked and broken pavement adjacent to the structures and raising the structure to be at the elevation of the surrounding pavement. Adjustments shall be done according to the MDOT 2020 Standard Specifications for Construction. Patching shall be done to the depth of adjacent pavement. For stabilizing structures and patching, the scope of work will require the removal of cracked and broken pavement and replacement to the same depth without structure adjustment. Traffic Control for these operations are expected to be accomplished according to a Leap Frog Lane Closure pattern to use adjacent lanes or the left-turn-only lane for through traffic. All questions, answers or resulting Addenda will be posted electronically. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the Bid amount shall be included with the Bid. The City of Greenville reserves the right to accept to reject any or all Bids for sound, documentable business reasons. The competency and responsibility of Bidders will be considered in awarding Contracts. The City of Greenville does not obligate himself to accept the lowest or any other bid. The City of Greenville reserves the right to waive any informality or minor defects in any or all bids. The City of Greenville reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities of Bid Items without additional compensation. The Contractor will be required to provide a Payment and Performance Bond in the amount of the bid. The bond shall be issued by a company licensed to do business in the State of Michigan.
