The Contra Costa Mosquito & Vector Control District (CCMVCD) seeks qualifications and fee proposals from Design Build Entities (DBE) to provide design and construction services for Improvements to the Administration, Maintenance & Operations Buildings and Sitework Project in the County of Contra Costa, California. The purpose of this Request for Qualification and Fee Proposal (RFQ/P) is to obtain information that will enable CCMVCD to select a Design Build Entity using a "best value" competitive procurement process. 1. Review and Redesign use of available space to provide: a) New Break Room b) New Conference Room c) (5) Admin offices d) (5) Program Director offices 2. Upgrade Technician Room 3. Flooring Replacement 4. Window Replacements 5. Board Room Upgrades with Technology 6. HVAC Replacement 7. Upgrade Restrooms 8. Interior & Exterior Paint 9. Overall Building Envelope Repairs & Replace Stucco 10. Security and Safety Improvements 11. Remove/Replace Vehicle Lift(s) in Shop 12. Modernize Solar Array - Shop 13. Resize/Modernize Wet Lab 14. Increase Parking Capacity 15. Increase Vehicle Storage 16. ADA compliance Question Deadline 06/10/2024 at 5:00 PM PT Final Addenda and Answers to questions Wednesday, June 12, 2024 Construction Start to Finish May 21, 2025 thru July 17, 2026 The scope generally includes civil, architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, technology and other applicable design services to complete a full set of construction drawings for final approval by CCMVCD's management for the manufacturing, installation and construction; plan checking, approvals and building permit (CCMVCD shall cover fees for plan checking and building permits), and other improvements for a complete, turn-key project. The selected Design-Build Entity shall provide design and construction and/or manufacture of the building and all supportive construction to satisfy the technical specifications of this RFQ/P. The selected DesignBuild Entity shall also obtain the required permits from the County of Contra Costa and other agencies as may be required by law as part of the Project scope (CCMVCD shall cover expenses for such permits) All design and construction work must be completed within seven hundred thirty (730) calendar days after the Date of Commencement established in CCMVCD's Notice to Proceed. Question Deadline 06/10/2024 at 5:00 PM PT Proposers may request, in writing, a clarification or interpretation of any aspect, or a change to any requirement of the RFQ/P or any addendum to the RFQ/P. Such written requests shall be made to the District Contact and may be transmitted via email by the date shown in Section I - Timeline. The Proposer making the request shall be responsible for its proper delivery to CCMVCD per "District Contact" (Section I). CCMVCD will not respond to oral requests
