Demolition and site work for a water / sewer project in Nichols, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Pee Dee Regional COG, on behalf of the Town of Pamplico, is soliciting bids for demolition of an abandoned water tower. Any questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing no later than June 18, 2024, by 2:00 p.m. EST and directed to Kim Ethridge via e-mail at kethridqe@peedeecoq.org. The Town of Pamplico will accept separate sealed bids for the complete demolition, disposal, and site clean-up of the abandoned Water Tower as well as seeding, site restoration and stabilization **The Town will remove the surrounding fencing and two (2) small buildings on the property* Work on this project will include: the demolition, removal, and proper disposal of all construction materials above and below grade; removal of all buried pipes and footings for the structure; removal, disposal, and sealing of all underground utilities at the street right- of-way; grading and filling of the site; and establishing site protection, grassing, and stormwater controls. The lot shall be left clean and free of debris. All materials from the sites shall be disposed of properly in accordance with all regulations. No on-site burning or burying of materials is permitted. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
