The project consists of constructing the following: The project includes but is not limited to milling and resurfacing, full depth patching, and the construction of ADA curb ramps throughout 11 street segments in the City as identified more specifically in the plans. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be as shown in the Bid Form Questions pertaining to this project may be directed to Mr. Jared M. All addenda, which may be issued for this Project, will only be issued to each plan holder via email . The OWNER reserves the right to reject any bid, or all bids, or to accept any bid or bids, or to make such combination of bids as may seem desirable, and to waiver any and all informalities in bidding. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. NO bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least sixty (60) days. A certified check payable to the City of Nappanee, Indiana or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and surety company, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The bidder awarded the contract will be required to furnish a separate Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one-hundred twenty-five percent (125%) of the contract price before commencing work. The Performance Bond and Payment Bond shall remain in effect throughout the entire construction period and in addition a Maintenance Bond in an amount of 10% for a period of three years from the date of final completion will be required. Each bidder shall be required to complete the Bid Form, in its entirety, included with these documents.
