Renovation of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Nappanee, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a elderly care / assisted living facility.
The Project Involves Targeted Interior Renovations to the Elder Haus Senior Center, Located at 451 N. Main Street, Nappanee, in. Work Includes: Accessibility Upgrades: Ada-compliant Restroom Renovations and Limited Corridor Repairs to Improve Accessibility and Functionality. Interior Renovations: Improvements Focused on the Dining Room Area, Including New Flooring, Finishes, and Ceiling Systems, Along With First-floor Leveling as Needed. Kitchen Improvements: Modernization of the Existing Kitchen Into a Commercial-grade Facility With Updated Utilities, Appliances, and Finishes. No Exterior Masonry Work is Included in This Project at This Time. Compliance With Federal, State, and Local Regulations All Applicable Federal, State, and Local Laws and Regulations Shall Apply, Including but Not Limited to: Minority/women Owned Business Participation and Indiana Veteran Owned Small Business Goals: The State of Indiana Has Set a Goal of 10% Participation for Minority and Women-owned Businesses and 3% Participation for Veteran-owned Businesses for Construction or Purchase-related Contracts. Award Will Be Made to the Lowest, Responsive, and Responsible Bidder. The Lowest, Responsive, and Responsible Bidder Must Not Be Debarred, Suspended, or Otherwise Excluded From Participation in Federally Assisted Programs Under Executive Order 12549. Each Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Certified Check or Acceptable Bidder's Bond Payable to the Owner, Equal to Not Less Than 5% of the Total Highest Aggregate Bid, Held as Evidence of Intent to Enter the Contract if Awarded. Approved Performance and Payment Bonds in the Amount of 100% of the Contract Price Are Required at Contract Execution and Must Remain in Effect Throughout the Contract Term Plus 12 Months After Substantial Completion. Bid Security Shall Be Furnished in Accordance With the Instructions to Bidders. Attendance at the Pre-bid Conference is Encouraged but Not Required. Written Questions Regarding This Project Will Be Accepted Until December 3rd, 2025, at 12:00 P.m. (Noon).
