The project consists of constructing the following: The project includes but is not limited to milling and resurfacing, full depth patching, and the construction ofADA curb ramps throughout twelve (12) street segments in the City as identified more specifically in the plans. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be as shown in the Bid Form. A certified check payable to the City of Nappanee, Indiana ora satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and surety company, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The bidder awarded the contract will be required to furnish a separate Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one-hundred twenty-five percent (125%) of the contract price before commencing work. The Performance Bond and Payment Bond shall remain in effect throughout the entire construction period and in addition a Maintenance Bond in an amount of 10% for a period of three years from the date of final completion will be required. Each bidder shall be required to complete the Bid Form, in its entirety, included with these documents. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Upon receipt of payment and signed Disclaimer, electronic copy (emailed) and printed copy (sent via UPS) will be provided. The General Contractor shall be prequalified by INDOT to perform a minimum of one (1) work type applicable to this project. Partial sets of Contract Documents, Specifications and Plans are not available. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any bid, or all bids, or to accept any bid or bids, or to make such combination of bids as may seem desirable, and to waiver any and all informalities in bidding.
