Demolition, site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Williamsburg, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Construct improvements necessary to install a completely functional pump station including, but not limited to: o Demolition of existing building and wet well o Rebuilding building and necessary piping to connect to existing infrastructure o Installing electrical equipment, pumps, controls, generator o Setting up controls and testing through SCADA o Site restoration. For contracts with a value exceeding five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000), the Contractor shall deliver to the JCSA or its designated representative, a Contractor's Performance Bond and a Contractor's Labor and Material Payment Bond, each fully executed by the Contractor and one or more surety companies legally licensed to do business in Virginia and each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the accepted proposal. If more than one Surety executes a bond, each shall be jointly and severally liable to the JCSA for the entire amount of the bond. Sureties shall be selected by the Contractor, subject to approval by the JCSA. All questions must be submitted not later than 2:00 pm on August 15, 2024, in writing via email: Linda.hodges@jamescitycountyva.gov.
