Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Williamsburg, Virginia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
James City County is seeking licensed professional design services for the complete design of construction plans that can be approved and will provide specifications and approved drawings for a construction contractor to build phase 2 of the subdivision. Phase 1 will be constructed by Habitat. The detail plans for phase 2 should abide by all Local, State and Federal regulations addressing land development. Subdivision's streets should meet VDOT Subdivision Street standards so they may be taken into the VDOT street maintenance system once constructed. Interior streets should include sidewalk on one side. Sufficient effort should be given to means to manage storm water run off of the new subdivision and include Low Impact Design principals. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
